The Original Speedway Park of Fruitland Park is Florida’s oldest eighth mile, dirt-clay, Go-Kart Track. Created in 1958, the speedway brags recognition as a World Karting Association Master Track. Spectators have two options for watching the various races including either seating up in the stands or down in the pit.
In addition to Go-Kart racing, the Original Speedway Park hosts the Motorcycle Flat Trackers, Southern Dirt Track Association, BikeFest SDTA Motorcycle Event, and Bikefest Camp & Race Weekend. The regular season for carting at the speedway includes 16 races that run from January through November.
Admission to the races includes entrance into the pit or the spectator area. Admission for the spectator area is only $3 for those over the age of 5 and free under 5. Admission to the pit area is $7 for those 5 and older and $3 for those under 5. If you are a racer, driver registration is $25.00 per racer per class for Original Speedway Park Members. For non-members, registration is $30.00.
